We are looking for GPs to join the Practice.
Our practice is 25 km south of Cairns CBD, providing the comforts of city living with the rewards of semi-rural practice. Our proximity to Cairns provides immediate access to specialists, diagnostic and hospital services. We enjoy the benefits of city life with the added attractions of magnificent countryside, World Heritage rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.

Our Practice structure offers flexibility in commitment, economies of scale and cost-sharing with the freedom of individual practice; pursuing professional interests becomes viable. Locality Profile
Gordonvale is a sugar town located in the picturesque Mulgrave Valley, nestled at the foot of Walsh’s Pyramid. World Heritage listed rainforest covers the mountains and the Mulgrave River meanders its way past the town to the sea. The Great Barrier Reef lies at our doorstep.
Gordonvale has a strong community with a genuine desire to retain its identity. The town boasts an 18-hole golf course, racetrack, State primary and secondary schools and a private primary school.
Local shopping is well provided. Cairns is twenty minutes drive away by four-lane highway, providing ready access to a broad range of facilities including private schools, employment opportunities, international airport and world class tourist attractions. Large housing estates are being developed on the western side of the town, with blocks ranging in size from standard suburban to acreage. In the original village, many “Queenslanders” are being restored to their former glory.
