Skin Checks
The Practice uses "Molemate" technology for the examination of moles. Molemate is a skin scanning device which allows your doctor to examine moles in great detail and uses software to keep detailed records of measurements and features of moles to assist with monitoring progress or change. It increases our ability to detect change early and reduces the number of lesions removed unnecessarily. This service is included in your skin check consultation where medically required at no additional cost.
Preventative Health Reminders
The Practice offers a reminder service for regular patients to advise when you are due for a diabetes review, PAP test, skin check or immunisation. A letter is posted to the postal address in your medical file. Please let us know of any changes to your contact details and tell your doctor or reception staff if you DO NOT wish to receive this service.
Repeat Scripts
Prescriptions for medications recommended by your doctor will include a specific number of repeats. A new prescription is required to continue the medication further and you must see your doctor to ensure the medication is working, is the best available and is still required.
Billing
Our tiered fees are designed to keep quality health care affordable and accessible.
- Private patients pay a gap beyond the Medicare rebate with a discounted fee for follow-up visits.
- All children under 8, Aged Pensioners and Gold Vets are bulk-billed, except for after hours visits.
- Other pensioners and Health Care Card holders are offered a discount.
- All diagnostic and treatment procedures are bulk-billed.
- Bulk-billing is not available for after hours services.
Full payment of your account at time of consultation is required and appreciated, by cash, cheque or EFTPOS. We can lodge your Medicare claim directly using Medicare EasyClaim.

Test Results
Test results may be provided by telephone only to the patient or guardian where your doctor has reviewed and commented on the result. Your doctor will advise if you need follow-up care but you are encouraged to contact the Practice if you have any concerns.
